NYPD Pulaski Association Scholarship
Program
Each year, the NYPD
Pulaski Association awards High School and College
scholarships to children of members.
In order to be eligible for a scholarship, the student
must be a son or daughter of a paid-up member and
graduating from the 8th grade or planning to take the
Police Reserve Association College Scholarship Exam.
Awards are based on the child's performance in a
competitive examination regardless if they attend a
private, parochial or public school.
Along with the Pulaski Scholarship, There is also the
Police Reserve Association City of New York Annual
Scholarship*.
Awards Ceremony will be posted at a later date.
The examination is open to sons and daughters of active
or retired members of the NYPD who are college bound
high school seniors who will be attending a two or four
year college and be matriculated the September following
the test for at least one full school year (Sept -
August). The exam is not open to civilian members
of the department.
Winners will be notified in May and awards
presentation will take place in June 2010.
The scholarship application process has
changed. Anyone wishing to apply for College and High
School Scholarships must contact Mike Lukowski for an
application.
You need to fill out (3) three applications for your
College bound student and (1) one for a High School
bound Student.
The NYPD Pulaski Association Application for both High
School and College,
The NYLEF Application and the Police Reserve Application
for College only.
The 2010 test schedule is as follows.
High School - Saturday, April 17th - 9:00 am - 12 pm
